CONFERENCES

DTI’s purpose is to encourage Native youth to dream big, to dream of becoming anything they want to be, and to dream of greatness. DTI also provides native youth exposure to various college campuses to eliminate the pressure, fear, or intimidation that youth may feel towards walking on a college campus.

The NIEA advances comprehensive, culture-based educational opportunities for American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians. NIEA advocates for policies and creates programs that support the development of comprehensive, culturally grounded learning opportunities for students. 

The American Indian Science & Engineer Society National Conference has become the premier event for Indigenous STEM professionals and students, attracting over 3,500 members and attendees from the United States and Canada, and as far away as Alaska and Hawai’i. Their resource fair with onsite interviews is next level.

UNITY’s Mission is to foster the spiritual, mental, physical, and social development of American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native youth, and to help build a strong, unified, and self-reliant Native America through greater youth involvement.

TCCAC works toward our vision by creating a family of tribal communities and partners that collaborate to sustain and grow a Tribal Quality Improvement System for early care and learning programs and providers, grounded in culture, wellness, and tribal sovereignty.​

California Native American Day (CNAD) is observed annually on the fourth Friday of September, honoring the culture, history, and contributions of California’s Indigenous peoples. It is held in Sacramento with various vendors, legislators, and tribally informed events.
